Teledyne to present its newest mission-critical sensing solutions at SPIE’s Defense and Commercial Sensing exhibition

Teledyne will showcase their newest products and solutions at SPIE’s Defense and Commercial Sensing exhibition taking place April 5-7, 2022, in Orlando, Florida.

Visitors to the Teledyne booth #1101 can expect representation from Teledyne FLIR’s OEM, Optics and R&D groups, and Teledyne’s DALSA, e2v, Imaging Sensors, Judson,  Lumenera, and Princeton Instruments businesses. Product and application specialists will be available to discuss your specific requirements.

New products introduced include:

  • Teledyne DALSA will highlight its latest smart defense imaging solutions including the Genie Nano-1GigE / 5GigE 2D VIS cameras, and the Calibir Long Wave Infrared (LWIR) cameras, plus MicroCalibir compact LWIR cores. MicroCalibir is a compact, lightweight and low-power uncooled thermal camera platform featuring the smallest VGA IR core module on the market. This makes it ideal for OEM drones, handhelds, helmet-mounted and vehicular integration products.
  • Teledyne FLIR Research & Development Solutions builds thermal imaging solutions to meet the most demanding defense needs. The new RS6780 Range and Scientific camera will be introduced at SPIE DCS. RS6780 is designed for range tracking, target signature, outdoor testing, and science applications, represents the latest addition to this robust portfolio of trusted products.
  • Teledyne FLIR’s OEM business will introduce a new uncooled longwave infrared imaging camera module with significant performance improvements compared to predecessor models. Also featured at the booth will be the Neutrino® series cameras which include an extensive selection of performance-driven MWIR imaging solutions with optional factory-integrated CZ optics to reduce development risk and investment. Additionally, on display the new Conservator™ cloud-based data lifecycle management (DLM) software enabling data scientists to build image datasets leveraging the world’s largest thermal image data lake. With dataset workflows in an easy-to-use and cost-effective solution, accelerate AI development with millions of thermal and visible images.
  • Teledyne Princeton Instruments will feature COSMOS™ — a large format, deep-cooled, high performance CMOS camera designed and manufactured entirely within a single source. With proprietary LACera™ technology, the COSMOS offers greater than 90% quantum efficiency, up to 8k x 8k sensor sizes, and proprietary low noise architecture with up to 18-bit readout and fast frame rate of up to 50 fps full frame.
  • Teledyne Imaging Sensors will display the closed-cycle Catalina camera, which uses a dual pulse tube cooler to maintain continuous operations at 80K for the MCT sensor, providing a spectral response from 2.0 to 12.3 microns with a frame rate of 1610 Hz and a 128x128 pixel window size. This design provides the ability to manipulate integration times, frame times, and cold filters to meet the most precise testing requirements.
  • Teledyne Judson will feature infrared detectors for defense, military, space and commercial applications.
