Elite
Teledyne e2v's Elite family of CMOS line scan image sensors are designed for high-speed scanning in mono and color from 2K to 16K resolutions. Elite's unique architecture enables low-noise performance while reaching exceptional line rates, making it an ideal solution for inspection tasks. Embedding two pixel arrays in one chip, Elite sensors feature different pixel sizes and resolutions, allowing a square or rectangular pixel shape, multi-line operation, all from one single device for maximum flexibility.
High Sensitivity, Low Noise
Based on high sensitivity, low noise pinned photodiodes, and high-speed readout path, the ELITE sensor is available in 16K/8K, 8K/4K and a 4K/2K array of pixels. The sensor has been designed to be very flexible and supports a variety of alternative configuration modes including two horizontal spatial resolutions in each model, square or rectangular pixel size, and one or multiple line operation in one device.
High Speed, Low Noise, Digital Multi-Line Scan
The Elite hybrid CMOS sensors have been designed to excel in monochrome and color automatic optical inspection tasks. This includes print inspection, check scanning, electronics manufacturing, food sorting, and medical (OCT, tissue diagnostics etc.).
Typical Applications
