PyLoN 400

Model: PYL-400
product image

The PyLoN 400 camera is offered with a variety of sensor options including a back-illuminated, deep depletion CCD with eXcelon technology that provides the highest average QE from UV to the NIR with negligible etaloning. A back-illuminated, deep depletion CCD version has high QE in the NIR with minimal etaloning. The back-illuminated CCD with eXcelon technology, with enhanced QE in the UV and the NIR with low etaloning. The PyLoN 400 is also available with a back-illuminated CCD. Highest QE in the visible with low dark current. but is subject to etaloning in the NIR. Lastly there is a front-illuminated CCD version that offers affordable technology for moderate light level applications, with no etaloning.

PyLoN Family Overview

PyLoN® cameras are setting the standard for sensitivity and flexibility in scientific spectroscopy. Cryogenic cooling delivers ultralow dark current ≤1 e⁻/pixel/hour. Flexible CCD sensor architecture supports multiple readout ports to adapt to low signal and high dynamic range experimetns. PyLoN sensors are also featuring Teledyne's patented excelon technology to eliminate fringing and maximize sensitivity.

Cryogenic cooling

Cooled to -120 °C. Delivers ultralow dark current, ≤1 e⁻/pix/h, for exposure times of minutes to hours

Dual amplifier redout design

High sensitivity amplifier reduces read noise for weak signals, and the high capacity amplifier offering increased effective dynamic range

Improved linearity

Provides exceptional read noise performance below 1 MHz, a constant baseline for multiple exposure and long integration time applications.
